Altarboosh Restaurant Ghubra

We had some of our best meals in Oman here! Every dish we ordered was delicious, if we had to pick one favourite, it would probably be the chicken livers, but everything else was really good! All the staff including the manager/boss greeted us with big smiles which made our experience so pleasant! We want to especially thank our waiter- the nicest guy Saadeldin, whose service was exceptional every time we went to the restaurant.

We were group of 10people from Czech republic and he had a blast. Delicious, fresh , not too salty (as everything in Oman which I loved),fantastic Desserts and lovely cozy atmosphere. Food arrived quicky and Zaki (cannot but warmly recommend to get him as a host) remembered who ordered what despite variety of plates we have ordered. It was the last night in Oman and we enjoyed ever but of this dinner. Visit, enjoy and come back again!

This restaurant is amazing. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The portions are quite big and everything is so fresh (even the bread was still hot from the oven) and tastes delicious! I loved it so much I will definitely come back!

We went in with pretty low expectations, but ended up being absolutely blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the variety, and the quality of the food. As a vegetarian, I wasn’t sure what to choose at first, but I got excellent recommendations. Ahmed – our waiter – was so polite, kind, and attentive the entire time. We’d honestly recommend this place to anyone visiting Muscat. And the price? Unbelievable — we paid around €35 for two people, including drinks and dessert!

Always good Oman food. We enjoyed the visit very much. Zaki gives us great service! We eat some rice & roll dishes, salads, different desserts. Next time I want to try a Oman sandwich. All very good

If you’re in Oman and want the best Hummus, do not miss this place. Before covid I stayed in Oman for almost 3 years and tasted hummus in almost every restaurant…but couldn’t find the flavour which could make my taste buds feel wow! Same views goes for the shawarma sandwich plate which is served with potato fries and Arabic salad. This time, the moment I landed Muscat, I went straight to this restaurant to have a bite of hummus. No doubt, this restaurant’s hummus tastes still the same even after 5 years today. All the staff were welcoming with a warm smile which was and is the USP of this restaurant. My kids loved the complimentary hibiscus juice.The ambience has improved post covid with bright lights yet sober interiors.

Today, we had an outstandig evening at this restaurant. The food was a lot and also delicious. Thanks to Ahmed for your service. I don’t know when it was the last time we had so much food for that price.
